Gay marriage has been quite the controversy in our country lately and I believe that it shouldn’t be such a big deal. I believe that people are people and they can love whoever they want to love. You can’t help who you fall in love with and the government shouldn’t tell them who they can and cannot marry. If that’s what your choice is, then so be it. Who are we to judge and tell them no?

In Diana Sweet's blog on gay marriage she stated that people cannot help who they fall in love with and people should be able to be with who they want. I agree with her on that. But the definition of marriage is being debated right now by the people. The people of North Carolina just approved an amendment to their state Constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. Other states ae for gay marriage. Is Man & Woman the same thing as Man & Man or Woman & Woman? That is also still being debated but I dont thinkit is. No one is trying to keep gay people from having relationships or living together or loving each other. What I dont understand is why they are so hell bent on forcing everyone to validate their relationships as marriages. There are civil unions and they can even make a up a whole new word of their own for their relationships for all I care and call it that.
There are a couple things wrong with your argument that I would like to correct. First, falling in love is a choice. When you "fall in love" you become infatuated with your significant other, and you will eventually fall out of love.
Second, yes, the government shouldn't tell them whom they can and cannot marry, but we shouldn't even have this problem! Homosexuality is not natural. Just look at the male and female bodies. They are obviously designed to couple. The natural design is apparent. It is not natural to couple male with male and female with female. It would be like trying to fit two screws together and to nuts together and then say, "See, it’s natural for them to go together."
In addition, political protection of a sexual practice is ludicrous. I do not believe it is proper to pass laws stating that homosexuals have 'rights.' What about pedophilia or bestiality? These are sexual practices. Should they also be protected by law? If homosexuality is protected by law, why not those as well?
Obviously you were never been in love, nor did you have the capacity to do so. How would have you felt, If you were forced to be with a man? That's how a gay man would feel when he's forced to be with a woman. Lastly, homosexuals are in agreement to be together (Mutual). In what world did you lived?, the minute you thought children choose to be with a pedophiles, or an animal chooses to have sex with a human and they should have rights to do so. Total involuntary situation. You needed help, too bad you never got it.
